The Balham 12-18W LED Microwave Sensor & Emergency Black Bulkhead Light is a smart, all-in-one solution designed for high-traffic areas like corridors, stairwells, and entrances. Featuring integrated microwave motion sensing, it activates automatically when movement is detected—perfect for energy-saving and added safety. This IP65-rated fitting is built to withstand tough conditions indoors or outdoors.
The emergency function offers 3 hours of backup lighting in both maintained and non-maintained modes, ensuring reliable illumination during power loss. Easily switch between 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K or 6000K colour temperatures and select from 8W, 14W, or 16W outputs, with a maximum brightness of 1800 lumens.

Great motion sensor wall mounted Light, Ip65 rated purchased for my parents,mounted it down the side of house, In-between a workshop,and drier room. Nice and customisable within its settings, time/range/colour temp/lux etc!. I would recommend. I am also considering a second one,above a garage!.
Good product with good features and adjustments, plenty of room for connections and cable, cable entry via conduit or rear through grommet, silicone washers provided keep IP rating integrity, hinged tray really useful to stop everything dangling around.
I ordered this lamp to replace a tired 25w fluorescent bulkhead in my garage and wow what a difference! I’m so pleased with not only the sensor operation but also with the lux level which is perfect on the daylight setting. Avoid all these cheap Chinese ‘imitations’, this is a robust and well made British product with the added benefit of a 3 year guarantee. Would highly recommend.
